Monday morning we headed toward the bridge at 7am. Aunt Joan made us some breakfast before we caught the bus. We had YUMMY pancakes.

The one rule that isn't on this board is Playing Tag, it isn't allowed. I would like to know the story of how they had to make that a rule.

I tried to get Uncle Dick to walk up the tube with me.
This is one of the joints that helps the bridge move with the wind.
When driving over the bridge there are 4 lanes, 2 going each direction. The center 2 lanes are this grate stuff. Look closely you can see the water below

At the start of the walk it was so foggy that you couldn't see the water. I think that was kinda helpful to those who are afraid of heights cause you get pretty high up there. It felt like a scary movie.
Finally the fog started to lift and you could see the water. There is no boat traffic under the bridge during the walk. This is a shot of one of that kept everyone safe...

Once we could see the water I announced to the "walkers" that we had to swim the last mile. Uncle Dick and Aunt Joan didn't believe me.
