My class at Foster has started and it has brought up a NEW challenge. One of my students is Deaf. I became very aware of how I spoke to the kids and realized that I say "listen to one another" A LOT!! Revamping and coming up with a lesson plan that fits around this child is my goal. So here I am trying to figure out a curriculum that deals with special needs children. What needs to change, my language and the way I communicate with the students needs to.
