Fort Peck Adventure

Fork Peck is about 3 hours east of my folks house just off of hwy 2. The hotel was awesomely scary. The first night I was there I had a dream where my dad was teaching me how to shoot a small pistol and he set up these milk containers for me to shoot at in the window. Before he walked away I pulled the trigger and shot one of the containers. I looked down at the gun, because I didn't mean to pull the trigger and it went off again this time shooting my mom in the temple. I woke up at this point sitting straight up in bed. I do believe that the hotel is haunted. The fact that it is a hunting lodge also might add to the KILL, KILL mentality. A guy by the name of Carl Mann purchased the hotel about 3 years ago and uses it as a base for his outfitter buisness. You can hire him to take you out hunting. Check out his website here."Hunters" were in town from New York City, Madison, and various places in search of a coyote, mule deer, elk. We were in search of a mule deer and a white tail buck. This is what the hotel looked like reminded me of the Shining.
There was a bar, where the hunters sat around and told tales of the one that got awayLooking up the stairs from the main lobby. The bar is to the right
The top of the stairs looking downThe top of the stairs the rooms are to the rightThe Hallway to our rooms. My room was attached to my folks via we shared a toliet and shower. Across the hall from my room was a tub room and a seperate toliet. Not all rooms have a bathroom I guessThis is the sink that was in my roomThere was a twin and a double bed. The bed was so soft
We were up and out the door in search of the deer before sunriseYou drive until you find a place you want to get out and stalk the deer. These guys were running along side our truckI was pretty good a spotting the deer. This guy was just sitting there looking at meI think dad had a good time even though he didn't shoot anything the first dayWe found some buffaloThe sunset was Beautiful
Having Fun in Montana!!!
