Wiggle Class

I am in week 2 of my kid's acting class.  I have an awesome class.  5 kids except this week some of the students had their younger siblings with them.  The kids are so amazing!  I guess the fact that they are able to tap into their imaginations soo easily and just let go of everything is what astonishes me.  I am a little jealous.  I feel lucky to. I am also really blessed.  At the end of every session I sit the kids down in a circle and we all use one word to say how we feel.  The past two weeks the kids don't want class to be over.  YEAH!  Nothing like having kids lift you up.

My Great Aunt Lou

So many memories of my Great Aunt Lou.All involve the Upper Penninsula of Michigan and creamed corn. She was married to my Uncle Marion, who was my grandpa's brother. Very much a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. She lived to be 99 years young. So many strong women are from the U.P.   I think I am about 10 in this photo.  It is the front porch of their home.

You will be missed Aunt Lou!

Northern Exposure by far is my favorite TV show.  A show based on Joseph Campbell's Hero's Journey! My favorite seasons are 4 and 5.  BRILLIANT!!

Netflix.  I have watched so many amazing shows via my blue ray.  Recently viewed Marwencol.  great documentary!

I rarely go on instant chat on Facebook for the pure fact that I end up chatting with people I really don't want to.. I had some of my young "kids" ask me if an older gay guy asks you, under the guise of  research, if you are circumcised or not, if that is a pick up line.  When I found out who the guy was I had to say YES!  CREEPER!
